If traxxas wasn't overcharging for parts, people wouldn't want aftermarket. 28 dollers for a replacement piece of 5 cent plastic wheelie bar for the xmaxx fuck that. ill 3d print before i ever buy anymore traxxas parts.

Hey huge fan of you and your content/channel. Have a question for you. I currently live in an apartment and I just got an Axial scx24 BUT I want to replace the ESC/receiver and battery because I don't want to risk the stock USB charger and lipo going up in flames especially with my kids here. So my question was could I replace the ESC/receiver from the scx24 with a ESC/receiver from a WPL C64-1? Since the motor plug is the same. Basically turn it into a WPL and use the stock C64-1 battery and radio.

What is the wheel to wheel measurement?

Will this work on a 6s battery? Don’t want to spend over $200 on another spektrum 5k mAh battery lol.

I'll have to try it. A low voltage meter is recommended. Forgetting to unplug a lipo will kill a battery.

The danger is there but not if properly taken care of batteries and monitored. I won't be charging my batteries outside.

Tell me, does the internal resistance of the batteries show correctly or is this function not accurate? :) I need to test the wear level of batteries at my work. I can, of course, do this with a special device, but it’s more convenient right away while charging. Thank you.

Nothing against newer and safer technologies, obviously, neither against buying good quality stuff also, but considering the billions of cells powering our world today and the number of spontaneous fires they provoke, I think it's not a thing to be afraid of. Please don't buy this over priced garbage! Buy the Aarma Mojave 4s. Why? Traxxas electronics are trash, you will get a few runs, then it runs out of puff. Mine ran for 5 minutes then over heated and stops. The servo is lack luster and also trash and will stop working. The shock them selves are great, the springs are way to soft, and the oil is way too thin. So you have to replace all the slashes electronics and transmitter, so expensive. The Mojave runs all day, replace nothing saving hundreds.

Could always upgrade to a high output alternator that will put out more current and at lower engine rpm.

So I would say I moved the esc pretty easily and I’m getting a bigger battery tm

I don't believe that if you spend more money you get better batteries. Example, spektrum! I have several spektrum batteries that have craped out on me. The whole battery market is a scam! My oldest and cheapest battery is a $50 6s sundapow from Amazon. Going on 3 years now and has never not charged or any issues. So don't believe that you have to buy the big names to get a good battery!

C ratings are never correct. A 100 c lipo is probably a 30 or 40c in a cheap priced lipo.

Good video. You can set the voltage cutoff higher to keep the lipos closer to the 40-80 percent use range. This range will extend the life of your battery and is the prefered range if you do not need full 4.2+ volts for racing or speed runs.

The question is how do you get rid of old batteries because you can’t just put them in the trash. And if they can’t be discharged because they are damaged what is the proper way to get rid of them???

Fuuny story all the gensaces I've owned puffed within 5 cycles 1c charged and storaged. Kept with care. I no longer over pay for packs. Zeee ovonic hovoo goldbat not 1 puff and they are all soo much older.
